Machine Pieced and quilted with hand dyed fabrics. Shamal is Arabic for "Hot Winds" and my husband once again designed the centre and I added the rest. I think it looks like a whirlwind and the name just fitted perfectly. The applique squares just add a finishing touch and the piping brings it all together. I love this piece!
