Where have all the Fishes Gone?
The brief was to use the fish fabric in an unusual way. I have used both sides of the fabric making the fish all but disappear. The title and the shadows reflect my thoughts on pollution and over-fishing in our seas. Colleen Wise’s book “Casting Shadows” was the inspiration for developing added dimension. Hand dyed and commercially dyed fabrics were used. Machine pieced and quilted.
