The background was machine pieced, the leaves and flowers were bonded on hand appliquéd. The bias strip stems were also hand appliquéd. The chrysthanthemum fabric looked great with black and silver so I developed the theme into frosty and wintry. The pansy fabric was fussy cut to enable the flowers to me more in keeping with the whole arrangement.
