Thoughts of Spring

Quilt made in blues, greens, yellows and purple/mauve with a border of self-made bias flowing heart shapes. Techniques used: sp[ace dyeing resist transfer and painting methods using procion indigo transfer dyes and fabric paints with French knots and beads added to the star centres plus self-made bias strips.
The name “Friendship Star” inspired me to think about what a true friendship should stand for, hence the flowing heart shapes around the border.
